YES, people here can certainly relate to the pace of weight loss.... My first mini-goal of "5 pounds lost" took 75 days! My second 5 pounds may be will be more like a month+ but that was only assisted by getting sick ....

Today I saw 140.0 on the scale. Sooooo close. There has not been a 3 as the middle number for more than ONE YEAR That will be a cause for celebration.
  • Weight is SUCH a WEIRD thing. I tracked my calories yesterday - 1219. (not even trying to restrict that low, but that's where I ended up.)

My weight is UP 1.6 pounds.

    141.6 today

I did have a little over 2000 mg of sodium yesterday (some packaged products that had a lot of salt in them) so that is probably related.

Nothing to do but enjoy the ride. The long, slow ride.
  • 147 this morning! yippee!!
  • OMG! I'm on a roll! 146.5
  • Today the scale wavered between 140.8 and 141.0 so I'm calling it 140.9...

down a bit from yesterday but still haven't been able to scootch past 140.0.
  • 139!!! Finally

YOU are on a steady downward march! 3.5 pounds in half a month? That's great! What are you doing to lose weight? Nobody has posted here much recently about their methods.

I need some methods! Or at least to stick to the ones I have... I am bouncing up a bit unfortunately. Am not weighing today due to yesterday's transgressions Mini goal #2, lose 5 pounds (which equals 140 lbs for me), has been in progress for 30 days and counting...

Dr. Fuhrman Diet, not too hard on me since I'm already vegetarian 95% of the time. Plus I've started the C25K program, 1/2 way through it
  • 8/4 - 140.8
    8/5 - 140.6
    8/6 - 142.0
    8/19 - 142.0
  • Bumped up to 141.2... then 142... yesterday was 140.6, today 140.4.

I just wish these fluctuations were a liiiiitle bit lower, bouncing in the 130s instead of 140s. It is slightly crazy how much better it feels to be "in the 130s" I suppose because then there is a connection to 130, 131, 132 etc

haha I just checked - if I went by kilos and I wanted to be "out of the 60s" I have to get down to 132 pounds... I remember when I first hit 60 kilos (on the way up) and it was just horrifying that I could weigh "so much." Aw, honey...
  • 139lbs this morning! see ya in the next thread, guys!
  • 145.5 this morning!! yippee!! plus a 20 minute run tomorrow morning
  • 8/4 - 140.8

    8/26/14 - 143.4
