Hi!

  • Hello all, I'm not new to 3FC, but I haven't been here in about 2 years.

My name is Patience and I began Winning Points (Old WW program) on April 22, 2013. I've been on this program and have worked it diligently everyday! I have lost an astounding total of 116 pounds! I have 43 more to go until I hit goal.

My husband and I have been doing this together, although he is counting calories -- he has lost well over 250 pounds. He once weighed in at about 500 pounds, he is now 238.

I have always worked out, on my elliptical and/or body strengthening. I have just began 30 Day Shred on Wednesday. I don't do it everyday, but take 1-2 days off between workout days.

I've been on the journey with the help of my husband, and friend at work. I haven't been to a meeting and don't intend to. My schedule makes it difficult, as I work midnights and homeschool my son, but as you can tell I've had great successes this past year.

I hope to get to know each and everyone of you!

    God Bless
  • Hi Patience! What impressive results and how wonderful to have been able to do it alongside your husband. Continued 'good luck' to you, although luck really hasn't had anything to do with it! Keep up the hard work and perserverance!
  • You are one very strong and determined woman. Congratulations on your achievements. I don't know how you do it but its fantastic.

btw Patience is not my name. Patience is what i need to be. lol
  • Thanks you two! Motivation is a big factor in my success. I've tried weight loss many many many times before in the past, but I've never been this successful, and it's because of the motivation! Yes, I've had months where I lost a little and months where I've lost alot, but on those months I didn't lose well, I never let it affect me and my motivation!
  • You are truly an inspiration to the rest of us!
  • Holy smokes! Congrats on your progress. Great job, you are a true inspiration.
  • Wow! You and your husband's hard work is major awesome. Please continue to come around I'd love to hear some more about your motivation. Just that little bit of your story is inspiring to me. Thank you for sharing.
