Has anyone ever given up coffee? I'm at a dilemma. I don't want to give up coffee. But lately it has been making my tummy really hurt. Here's the current plan,
I wake up around 6:30 and drink one cup of coffee. I enjoy it immensely. By the end of the first cup my stomach feels terrible, nauseous and hurting. The only thing that makes it feel better is to eat something. But often I'm not hungry so early in the morning and I don't like to eat when I'm not hungry.
So I'm considering giving up my morning joe, or at least putting it off until later in the morning after I've had breakfast. I'm very scared of getting headaches, has anyone gone off coffee, how long do the effects last and is there a solution here where I get to keep my coffee that I'm not seeing? There is no problem with overconsumption, I'm a one-per-day type of girl and don't feel a need to rid it completely.
