It has been quite common to hear about injuries as people lose weight. Originally Posted by Kawaii1002

Doing my best to try light movement so that my shoulder/hip don't go crazy. Dr. (Chiropractor) said that because I've lost so quickly I actually sprained the sacro-ilial tendon in my hip. I know this and the rotator cuff injury are temporary and my body is going in the right direction.
Several people have posted info docs have given them.
First, our center of gravity changes quickly and we are more prone to injury as we're not used to it.
Second, the fat actually helped create support on areas that we must now strengthen and let the muscles support instead. I really expected my WL to correct back problems but in many ways for a while it got worse. I needed chiro adjustments but also a chiro knowledgeable in PT, and eventually just started going to PT.
I've learned some exercises and stretches that I may need to do for life to keep the pain at bay. Hang in there...it'll get better!
