Literally--I went from zilch physical activity (I've had a series of injuries on my ankles and feet; just got medical clearance to start low impact cardio again--to five days a week in the gym, weight training and stepping and rowing and boxing (and tai chi, which I've discovered is Ultimate Awesome).
There's been good news--I've lost almost four inches in my bust, two inches in my "bra strap", and an inch in my hips.
But I want my ticker to move!!!
I've learned when I hit stalls like that, to simply switch diet plans for a bit until it gets going again. For example, I was doing high fiber for a few weeks- when I hit a stall, I started doing a modified version of Paleo (we eat some dairy) with my youngest daughter, who wanted to lose weight for her prom. I decided to join her in doing this, because I was at a stall for three weeks and didn't lose anything. Paleo sure got the scale moving again- I lost three pounds last week, hoping to lose some more this week. Other diets I switch around with- Carbohydrate Addict's Diet, Belly Fat Cure, Calorie Counting. I merely switch plans, to keep my body guessing.
I'm hoping to get out of the 280's soon. the only drawback to Paleo diet is there is a LOT of cooking involved- I feel like I never leave my kitchen some days. I promised my daughter I would do it with her until her prom, so I am stuck. *sigh* Guess I will just have to tough it out, lol!
Have a great day, everyone- looks like I am joining you all for however long it takes me to get down to 269. Good luck to you all!
