I loved this! The other evening, we went to a social for one of my daughter's school activities. One of the other dad's was in a networking group I used to belong to (and I hadn't seen him for about 2 years), and when he walked by, he said hi, and then saw my husband, who used to work with him. Then he looked kind of confused, as we were talking. Come to find out, he thought I was someone else and thought my husband was with this other lady & not me! I told him that I had lost 75 pounds, and he said I looked completely different. My husband looks the same, he said.
My husband says he's got the trophy wife without having to go through the divorce and without the cost... I just smile!
Not being recognized is one of my favorite things.
