    31 194.8 Why do I ALWAYs gain right at the end of the month/challenge? I was sick with a cold then had sick grandkids in my care for 2 days...haven't been able to work out. So my ending weight means I lost a total of 6.6 lbs. not bad, but I did not meet my goal for the first time since July! Oh, well. Looking at the big picture makes me happy!
  • Good morning all!!! Did not make goal last month (5pounds) so shooting for 5 pounds this month. I don't post much except daily weigh-in but I read everything. Love that this is such an active thread.

  • I was so close to goal, 1 week before the end I was 200grams away then this morning when I weighed I had put on 600grams My exercise routine is going well I just need to get my eating under control.

    Good morning you guys,
    this is my first challenge so I'm hoping I'm doing this right.

    A short introduction: I'm 22, I go to School in Germany and I've actively been losing weight since January.
    I usually only weigh-in every 4-6 weeks at my parents' house, but I didn't lose anything since the beginning of August so I hope checking my weight daily will help me understand that a little better.
    Although I already know why I was eating too much, haha The only reason why I didn't gain was because I picked up running, and I completed my first 10k on Sunday go me.
    Anyways, I had my wisdom teeth pulled on Monday, so I can't exercise for 2 weeks (also can't blow my nose :P), so considering I won't have any burn, my goal for October is to get my eating back on track.

  • I had a visit from the baby whoosh fairy and my scales moved down 0.75 lb this morning. That was a pleasant surprise!

    183StGB: Great introduction! I’m 55 and I had one of my wisdom teeth removed about 8 months ago. That was not fun, so I sympathize with your situation. On the plus side, I was in too much pain to eat much other than soup for about a week…so perhaps that will help to get your eating back on track.
