Jillian Michaels: Banish Fat Boost Metabolism Workout

  • Has anyone done the Jillian Michaels: Banish Fat Boost Metabolism Workout? Is it good? What were your results?
  • I've heard the results are great and more can be found out on myfitnesspal.com.

Are you planning to start anytime soon?
  • I'll have a look on there!

I'm planning to add it to my exercise throughout the week. I'll probably do it two times a week, I just need something which is challenging and produce good results - plus I love Jillian Michaels, she's pretty inspiring.
  • She surely is. She makes me feel that being overweight is a punishment.
Mind if i join you so that i don't fall off the wagon in between?
  • Of course not! I think it will be a great addition to weekly exercise.

  • When do we start?
  • I'm starting tomorrow. I'm doing it every Friday and Sunday

  • BFBM is a great cardio workout! Some of the circuits are really intense, but Jillian does a good job of mixing less intense movements in to give you a little breather.

Have you tried No More Trouble Zones? It's a head-to-toe toning workout that is about 45 minutes (about the same length as BFBM). I found that doing those two DvDs on alternate days gave me great results!
  • Can I join you too? I have been walking this summer and need to get back into circuit training. I have BFBM and Jillian's Extreme shed and shred, which is two more 45 min workouts. Ilm going to aim for a Monday circuit.

  • So I did BFBM this AM, 4 of the 7 sets, boy am I out of shape. I'm going to try for Mondays, Weds and Fridays. I'll try for at least 4 sets all this week.
  • workinglikeadog, good for you! In my opinion, the 1st, 2nd, and 4th circuits are the hardest. It might be because I actually LOVE doing mat work, but the rest of it is easier. Good luck!
