Lazyman Marathon - August Challenge

  • A Lazyman Marathon is a full marathon (26.2 miles/42.2 km) but instead of taking a few hours you have a whole month to complete it. You can walk, run, skip, or jump the distance but you must use you feet. Biking doesn't count however. You may break up the total distance anyway you want: walk a mile every day for 26 of the days, run a couple miles every few days, cram the last week, however you want to do it. And feel free to go over if you find this to be easier than expected.

    The challenge will run from August 1 through August 31. If you're interested post on here and I will add your name to the list. Each time you log a distance I will try to update your total.

    When you reach 25% (~6.5mi) of your goal I will highlight you in Red
    When you reach 50% (~13mi) of your goal I will highlight you in Orange
    When you reach 75% (~19.6) of your goal I will highlight you in Yellow
    When you reach complete your goal I will highlight you in Green
    With how quickly some of you are stacking on miles I will highlight you in Blue for everything over a marathon.

  • 8/1: 2.61 mile walk to work
  • 8/1: 1.2mi on treadmill at gym for warmup before strength training
