Are you in a band? Do you play any instruments? Do you sing?

  • Do we have musicians out there? I have a feeling that we do.

    Come forth!!!
  • I'm a classical pianist, right now pursuing my degree in performance. I also sing and have played various instruments including clarinet, cello, percussion, guitar, and javanese gamelan.
  • Impressive!
  • I sing. I have a huge dream of becoming an operasinger!

Well, I'm only 16 (almost 17) so I've definitely not finished developing voice-wise yet! But that does not stop me from singing. I am currently on my 2nd year (out of 3 years) on this program that will make you suited for the conservatories in my country, when you end those 3 years. It's a program/course you can do while going to high school as well, so I really get to enjoy high school life as well as singing.

I'm currently studying German because, well.. Half of all good operas (and music besides operas) are in German!
  • I play the piano, cello, guitar, banjo, and well, pretty much any stringed instrument. Except the harp. I've never gotten my hands on one of those.

I trained in piano or classical guitar for a long time, but I came to realize for me - it's way better as a hobby than a profession.

I have sung in the chorus of several community opera groups and used to have a fun holiday job as a Christmas caroler at a swanky casino for a couple years.

Everyone in my family is super musical so it's pretty much a festival at family reunions.
  • Just finished a music degree! I'm primarily an oboist, but I also play the piano and I sing. Given a couple of hours I can usually get around most instruments, I often try and buy cheap student models and then teach myself when I have some free time
  • I love it when people are interested in music.
  • I play French horn and guitar and dabble with any other instrument I can get my hands on. I also consider myself a singer/songwriter. What do you play?!
  • Used to play viola, chello, and then clarinet. I liked the clarinet the best.
  • Violin, melodica, singing sometimes. I play in an informal "band" with a couple friends. Our first paid show is coming up!
  • I have a degree in music composition and play the piano. Not long ago I was a keyboardist & backup vocalist in a community oldies band for about a year and a half, but found it less fulfilling than I'd expected (probably because of the nature of the music) and ended up leaving the band.
