I got plenty of exercise today not by choice though

I had to go get a sample of an aquatic weed that we saw in the lake yesterday but we couldn't get our boat in far enough to get it so we had to hike there. Three miles roundtrip in hip waders 4 sizes to big was more than enough exercise for me today

I work for a water plant and this lake is our drinking water source. If the weed is an invasive species it can take over the lake so we need to identify and possibly treat it before it becomes a problem.

Even though it was hard work, I often wish I HAD to do stuff like that all the time. If I had to do it, maybe it would be a habit and I would get in shape,lol

Good job. I bet you were ready for bed after that, lol.

I wouldn't mind if I had to do it often, but usually I am sitting on my butt in the lab

No wonder I felt like I was going to have a heart attack.
