Back from Vacation...

  • So for those that remember I phased off before we went to Florida as we were going to be gone for 2 weeks, staying in a house witth 17 people, going to the Disney parks etc.. Also before I was having problems with dizziness when I was more active in the hot weather.

    So I phased off, kind of skipped phase 2, did it for a couple days then hit phase 3.

    We drove to florida, left June 11th, got there June 14th. Drove back June 21st and were back June 23rd. The hardest part? BEING IN THE CAR! If I wasn't driving it might have been easier, but to sit there for 4-8 hours at a time with a few breaks... drove me crazy! I wanted to snack so bad! And I did... I indulged on the trip. I didn't go crazy (in my opinion) but I did eat things I haven't but limited it. I gained 7-8 lb in those 2 weeks. I don't regret it at all as I had fun with my family and felt great the whole time!

    I will say my portions are smaller no matter what and my body knew when too much was too much (sweets etc).

    So I am back to eating more phase 3 type meals and then will reboot to phase 1 here in a couple days. I really would like to lose the 8 lb I gained (of course) and another 20-30 lb. I am going to stick with doing it myself instead of going back to the clinic.

    Hubby gained about 5 lb on vacation and he is back to more maintence type foods and working out.

    Walking with so much weight lost was so much easier! And I wasn't horrified going to the beach!
