Like the last two pregnancies, I put on too much weight and will likely be the same weight post partum (weird, 3 different pregnacies, 3 different levels of activity, 3 different eating habits...all got to the same weight...)
Anyway I will be breastfeeding and I'm already thinkin about my calories for weight loss after baby. After baby #1, I didn't BF and just did 1200-1500 cal right away. After baby #2 I didn't count cals at all while breast feeding (4 months) and didn't lose a pound either! I noticed I was ALWAYS hungry so that's why I chose not to count cals, but that meant no weight loss too.
I want to start right away, but not be starving or reduce mill suplly either.
Just want input and other mom's experience.
If you BF, what was your daily calories? Did you notice you were very hungry? Was it hard to "control" eating while BFing? What was your weight PP? I seem to be about 220 lbs PP after each baby. I'm actually 220 now, but I have a month to go then of course some comes off with having the baby!
