I recently found out that my cholesterol is very high....283. I eat a very healthy diet most of the time. I do allow in treats and not-so-healthy foods from time to time. I exercise most weekdays as well.
I have been trying to think of anything that I do eat daily that might be contributing to the high cholesterol. One thing that keeps coming to mind is the artificial sweeteners I use....in diet soda, coffee sweetener, etc.
I did a Google search and didn't really find any solid answers. Does anyone have any information that might help me confirm or rule out the sweeteners as contributing factors in my high cholesterol? I hate to say it, but I really don't want to give them up.
Thanks for any info!
