Weight watchers food

  • Do you eat the weight watchers products? What do you think of them? If you like them, what are your favourites?

I like some of them. My favourites are the little fruit tubs and the fruit jelly. I also like to eat some of the frozen dinners occasionally.
  • I don't eat them anymore. I've had to go gluten free, so that pretty much eliminates all processed food. I will say that there is a fair amount of sugar in the bars and such...

  • I've had many of the WW products over the years, even before I started WW. I always thought they were pretty tasty as a slightly "healthified" version of higher fat foods. My favorites are the ice cream desserts- the giant fudge bar in particular.

But even though they are made to work into the WW diet, they are still high in sodium, sugar, and highly processed. So I feel that they should be used sparingly as a treat, rather than as a daily staple of the diet.
  • I don't buy WW products generally because I feel it is cheaper to make whatever myself and it's less processed as well, not that there's anything wrong with that. I am personally just trying to focus on less processed food.

I do remember trying their ice cream bars long time ago (can't recall the specific product) but it was pretty good.
  • The only good thing about the ww's food is that it is portioned controlled. So you have a point specific ice cream vs a larger unknown point ice cream. So if you can not stay away from treats they are good but otherwise not the healthiest options.
  • I buy their baked beans and occasionally the lemon chicken risotto frozen meal. I agree they can be very high in sodium and I always have to add more veg to the frozen meal to stop me snacking afterwards
  • The only thing I buy are the ice cream bars. I LOVE the Greek yogurt bars! And for only 2 pts they make a nice evening treat.
  • I've bought some of the bakery-type stuff before when on sale but don't normally eat is anymore. I have a remnants left over in my freezer but much prefer to spend my points on higher value but more nutritious foods.
  • I only ever the fruit tubs and fruit jelly, but not all the time. I usually use the fruit tubs to make smoothies. The only other WW product I buy is the Strawberry Jam, however I hardly eat it, it's usually a little treat for some breakfasts.
  • I love several of their products but am trying to wean myself off of them so to speak, they make the program easier but we are really trying to cut out processed foods as much as possible.
  • I used to really like them but I've gotten sick of them to be honest. I've been doing WW for over the past ten years so. Like the other ladies have said they are so processed and a lot of "fake" stuff in them. I try to buy the real thing and if it's something very tempting to have too much of then I pre-portion it as soon as I bring it home.
  • Arent they all processed?
