For a nutrition class at my school I had my blood sugar levels and cholesterol checked along with BF % and a few other things... Anyway- my fasting blood sugar was 94 and while I read that thats in the "normal" range... I would really like to be closer to the low end of normal...
I have a history of eating disorders.... Bulimia and binge-eating. But no family history of diabetes. "Googleing" blood sugar 94 may have been a bad idea- it has convinced me that I am in serious danger of becoming diabetic...
Does anyone have thoughts or advice? Maybe a little knowledge on how eating disorders might contribute to diabetes?? Am I just being silly?
I generally eat pretty healthy- rotating between 1300-2000 calories per day ad about 120-170g carbs... but about every 7-10 days i go insane and completely overload on sugar... to the point where i am shaky and sweating sometimes... maybe (hopefully) this can be enough to scare me straight...
Thank you in advance.
