WLS cocomint pudding texture

  • I heard rave reviews about the Weight Loss Systems' cocomint pudding & shake mix (aspartame free version) and ordered some to try. I like the flavor but the texture is pretty grainy, even grainier than other WLS puddings I've tried. Does anyone have any suggestions or things they do to change the texture? I made it according to the package directions (add 4 oz cold water and mix) and let it sit just about 3-4 minutes to thicken.

There are actually suggestions in the Alternative Reviews thread.
  • Thanks, I did check the original alternative reviews thread and the alternative reviews vol 1 thread before I posted. People wrote that they liked it as a shake, pudding, or ice cream but I did not see any suggestions regarding improving the texture. Perhaps I missed something somewhere as I have read through those threads multiple times recently to try new products.

  • I read in one of the threads, not sure which one, that someone said it helped to refrigerate the pudding at least 30 minutes to get the grainy feeling to go away. I'll look and try to post the link.

Lisa got to it before I could. That's exactly the thread and response I was thinking of. I too just ordered the cocomint and can't wait to try it!

Ah, perfect, thank you! I searched "cocomint" instead of "coco mint" so maybe this is how I missed it. Thanks again!

    Great, thanks!
