Newbie question - 3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

I'll probably get banned for asking this question, but - Soon after I created my 3FC account my spam folder EXPLODED. I mean it went from zero spam to 30-50 a day. I had to delete my gmail and create a new one. Kind of annoying. Anyone else have this happen, or was it just a coincidence?

It probably is related to another source. 3FC has never shared email addresses with anybody. Didn't gmail filter your spam? It's rare that I ever see anything, it usually gets filtered out.

Thanks Jennifer. I am relieved to know this. I guess it was related to something else. Yes the spam was filtered into it's own folder. I was just amazed to see so much suddenly. I am happy to know the website doesn't share our addresses. Thanks again for answering.
