  • Ok, after another day of cycling yesterday, I'm down another half a pound - not enough to change my profile, but my excel spreadsheet knows everything

My calves are aching, and I'm a bit sunburnt, but it felt great to be out and about. Today I'm going to do some groceries.

    How was your weekend?
  • I'm frustrated I'm back up to 278 I stayed on plan this weekend the only thing I did differently was I drank mostly diet pop this weekend. Could that be the reason it's up?

I feel like banging my head against the wall sometimes.

This has happened to me too! It's so frustrating! I'm fairly new to dieting and whatnot so I'm not sure if this is right, but I would give it a few days and maybe you'll return to your lower weight? I weighed in at 272.5 two days ago, then 274.5 yesterday. I was so severely upset about it, I couldn't imagine what I did wrong, but I guess I must have just eaten too much salt the prior day. Today I weighed in at 271.5. Not really sure what to think of it other than the salt thing.
  • Thanks for the encouraging words Levoguette.

It's still not down but I still have 2 days before weigh in and if not then there is always next week.

How is everyone doing this week?
  • Sorry Roxie! It could be the diet soda making you bloated, hence the weight gain. I always see an increase when I do a different workout.

For example, yesterday I did Zumba, which is normal for me. But I also started a 30 day squat and ab challenge. I stayed completely OP yesterday but I gained .2lbs from yesterday. It can be discouraging but stick to it! You have already lost 104lbs so I'm sure you know what you're doing!
  • Quote: How is everyone doing this week?
Meh, meh, meh! Similar to you, though staying on my plan, the scale jumped from 272 to 277.6 and back and forth with weights in between that range all week? Weird! I'm trying to stay focused on the fact that at least my fluctuations (knock on wood!) no longer go into the 280s and that I'm in for the long haul and for my health when I just want to see kind number, ha ha.

In the rest of my life though, I'm having a great week. My daughter is up visiting and we're having a lot of fun.

Happy last days of July to us all!
  • Justaloozer - Yeah and I was walking lost at the start of the week maybe that had something to do with it.

Eviebaby - I hope you have a great visit with your daughter. :-) Yes, we are in it for the long haul and can do this!

It's official i'm up 2 lbs but yesterday and the day before I ate a jar of pickles and then last night I ate some pistachios. I need to stop weighing everyday it just brings me down. So, i'm going to try to wait till next Friday to step onit again which will be hard since I do it so often now.

My daughter is in French day camp and i'm missing her like crazy. I can't wait till 4 to go pick her up even thou I just dropped her off.

Hope everyone has a great Friday!
  • Hi Everyone! Happy Friday!

Since my last post on here, I haven't really lost but I haven't gained either (yay!). I think it might be because I started a new exercise this week. I've been doing the Move! videos from daily burn. I love them and I definitely get a great workout from them.

Even though I haven't lost any numbers on the scale, I have however lost inches!!

    1 inch from my hips

1.5 inches from waist and arms

3 inches from my underbust (my bust stayed the same, thankfully for husband! haha!)

    3.5 inches from my chest

So I know I'm "losing" and going in the right direction. Just not losing on the scale.Which is okay, because I can see and feel the muscles starting to build and already I'm seeing areas starting to tighten, especailly my arms, butt and legs!
  • Twosixeight - That's awesome! I love when I measure and see the numbers moving. I really need to do that again soon.

How is everyone's weekend going? I have found a love for geo caching. I learned a valuable lesson my first night out thou. Wear proper shoes! I was climbing a rock and it was not pretty but I found the cache! lol
  • Bump.. and wanted to say HAPPY FRIDAY to you chickies... Just working on the downward trend as the 250-260s are starting to get really close to the 240s so hurry up!! Just teasing.. I know you all are doing all you can.. Just wanting to see your success stories!! Have a GRAND DAY!
  • I'm down a pound this morning to 276. I have to keep telling myself that it is better than going up!
  • Hi!!

I want out of the 270s! I was 272 at a check-up awhile back, which is finally down from 278 for a long while. Starting a new thing and hoping to see results....
  • Jjjumble - I am right there with you. I am ready to say farewell to the 270's!

My TOM has finally come and passed and my scale dropped. I just hope it stays that way by Friday

Where is everyone else? How are ya all doing with the move down?
  • Roxie I too am ready to say goodbye to the 270s! I am down to 272.4lbs this morning. 272 was my prepreg weight with my first child. Two years ago I got down to 267. I want to hit 265 (7more lbs!) by Labor Day! After I get down to 267, every new low will be the lowest I've been in over 8 yrs!
  • Justaloozer _ We are almost there :-) I haven't been this low in over 11 years. My lowest weight I remember is from high school in grade 10 and it was 220.

Hopefully by next week we will see 269!
