  • my friend and I went about 1 1/2 hours out of town Friday to pick up my diabetic shoes and her do shopping at Sam's. We stopped for lunch at a neat restaurant called The Chop House. They are very popular in Tennessee. I ordered the petite pork chops well done with a side salad and sugar snap peas. We asked the waiter not to leave the bread on the table. He seemed to completely understand our request and acted as though it was perfectly normal. Other restaurants in our area act the same way. Hope you find that type of attitude where you live. As a side note, I was a waitress on my second job back in 1982-84 and I appreciated when people ordered their entree a special way because I knew that they would really enjoy it when it was made the way they wanted. I saw that in tips as well because they were very appreciative when their special order was taken with a positive and polite attitude. That is why I don't mind ordering my food a specific way. When I pay for food at a restaurant, they should be willing to prepare it the way I want it.
  • Very well said Elvis Lover. I agree I spend too much money on this program to mess around.
