I reached my goal and then some for week one, which was 422. My new weight is 421.4. Thanks to everyone that was encouraging and gave me advice during my first week of my lifestyle change.
Great work! I had weekly goals, too, the entire time I was losing. Bigger amounts the first 10 weeks, then 1% of my body weight per week after that. It worked for me. I liked having an aggressive goal. Mostly I liked having a one week goal - every week, I know - but one week is easily doable, I think. Good luck to you. Time is going to pass anyway - we might as well pass it doing something to improve our health.
