.... okay I am happily stunned! One reason I've been working so hard to lose weight is that I am working with a surgeon toward breast and stomach reduction. I have massive amounts of excess weight there that is not going away without help. But I want to get as much weight off as possible so it doesn't all sag again.
Today my doctor told me she does not think I need to lose any more weight before the surgery and said "you don't have anywhere else to lose it." She is right... it is ALL "front and center." She commented... and it is true... that my legs, arms, thighs, etc. are skinny. She was beaming at me and saying how proud she is of me.
Oh and she asked if I had bought any smaller clothes to wear afterward and I said no as I don't know what size but that I had bought some size 16 and 14 pants and she said I will not be able to wear them as they will be too big! I may go to a thrift store or watch sales and buy a couple smaller pair. WOW
I can't believe I am this close and have made it this far! I see the surgeon mid-Feb and will see what he says. He DID say in Dec that there would be a point where I would just stop losing and that would be when we should do it... and I have lost only one pound in the last 3 weeks, while staying on plan. Some of that is probably because I am working out so hard and building muscle.

Edited to add... I decided to try on the size 16 pants that I bought last month, which I could not even begin to close and zip up. Even though I have lost just one pound... they FIT!! So I have most definitely gotten quite a bit smaller!! Yayayyayya I AM replacing the fat with muscle.
You should be so proud of yourself for reaching so far!! All the very best for the future
