Hello all, just wondering if anyone has replaced their lunch packet with their own protein in phase 1 with success? Was thinking I could replace with baked salmon or chicken breast. 5 or 6 oz...
You should not replace a packet with another protein meal, that is essentially phase 2 and not phase 1. You can always "borrow" some of your dinner protein to use at another meal and just reduce the amount you have at dinner.
5-6oz of protein is going to be about twice the amount of protein that a packet contains, none of the extra nutrients included in the packets, and almost twice the calories.
Altho some people split their dinner protein into 2 four-oz portions & have one for lunch and one for dinner. You'd still need to have the 3 packets in the day, tho.
