  • For the next 21 days.... I will take at least 5000 steps (I sit alot at work)

    5/27 day 1 10257 steps (I walked so that adds 5500+ steps)
    5/28 day 2 5300+ steps at 9:15 I took off my pedometer...
    5/29 day 3 8778 steps.. yeah... Walked 2 miles outside and got back in the house RIGHT before it started pooring LOL Guardian Angels are there for me!
    5/30 Day 4 5750 steps at work woo hoo
    5/31 Day 5 5137 walked around inside my house as it was raining LOLOL
    gonna do this!!!!
    6/1 Day 6 5052 steps... Did a bunch of dancing in my living room... Good thing my drapes were closed LOLOLOL

  • i been on vacation for a week.. causing me to drink soda (which i never did when i was at home.) Therefore. i probably gained some weight.. so my 21 day challenge is to not drink soda.. starting today

    what type of pedometer do you use
  • Hello Ajlee... I use cheapy brand I found in Wally World Its a Sportline with colortrack display. Its neat as it tells you the steps, how many miles and for fun calories burned... but that is subjective as it depends on your weight... But it is cool. I walk around with it all day long on my skirts at work. Good for you for just having 1 diet soda... It is so hard to kick that sugar craving ARGH and even diet sugar is hard to do.. I am an icetea drinking and love my "pinky" sugar.. but I am down to just 2 packets for 2 quarts of tea... so just barely sweetened its a toughy!!!

    I am going to go look online right now for it do you know approx how much you spent?

    I work as a teacher so when school starts back up I really want one because teachers walk around so much so I wanna see how much I usually walk in a day!
    and I have been pretty good with no drinking soda at all or sports drink.. but yesterday I was really craving a pepsi.. so I went with a diet one.. no calories haha
    I am not a big icetea person.. I like hot tea instead.
  • Goal: For 21 days, I will develop a healthier bedtime routine and will do the following 5 things before bed:

    1. Floss
    2. Brush teeth
    3. Use mouthwash
    4. Wash Face
    5. Brush hair

    Level 3 - This will be a huge challenge for me. When I get too tired at night, I usually blow off the bathroom stuff and just go straight to bed. Then I wake up with tangled hair, bad breath and pimples.

    06/11 - Pause #1 - It is lightning non-stop outside and I don't like using the sink during lightning storms so I'm going to take my first pause day.

    06/18 - Done!
    06/19 - Pause #2 - I ran out of clean washcloths and I worked on fixing my mom's computer until 4 AM. I didn't even bother getting into my pj's and ended up just passing out in bed with my clothes on.
    06/20 - Done!
    06/21 - Pause #3 - I didn't want to use my 3rd pause so soon but I was so tired last night that I wasn't thinking clearly.
    06/22 - FAIL!!

    Well, I failed this challenge the first time around. I would restart right away but I'm going on vacation in a week so I think I'll wait until I get back to try this again.

    Ajlee.... I spent around $9 as I drop them alot and anything costing more would be a waste LOL You can also change colors on the screen : ) and I bet teachers walk alot!!! You have those kids to keep after and if you change rooms too... that will do it! and good for you again to do the diet soda instead!!! Is it starting to make a difference?


    AllyG...I am like you (before your 21 day challenge) I just go to bed makeup and all LOL and yes at 55 I get pimples still LOL but at least its "mineral" makeup

    6/7 Day 12.. well it rained all day here in So Florida so only 4100 steps... skip this day (I gave myself 2 skip days but did not want to have to use them - Might just have to repeat this challenge again and again and .... lol

    haha, great price for me.. I like that price hahaha I am going to go look for it online havent yet been busy.. do you know the exact name? if not.. thats all good that changing screen colors can be a easy way to find it.. plus i like colors so that will keep my motivated hehehe.

    but when I do drink soda all I drink is diet (unless the boyfriend has soda and I really want a sip.. he doesnt drink diet) but it seems to be going good for me.. I love diet sodas more than regular (not 7up or sprite though only the dark sodas i will diet) but now that i do not drink them at all i feel completely different.. i do not feel so heavy like i would when i drank soda.. weight wise.. i havent noticed a difference but i have also been working out differently causing my muscles to tighten up which causes your weight to go up until they losen.. so i will see within the next week

    oh and great job on your walking I know the ran tends to ruin everything. I seem to not wanna work out when it rains.. but when it rains i go to youtube and i go to the leslie sansone walking at home 1-5 mile videos.. that helps
