Ive had my current hair for what feels like forever and now with the weight loss I'm feeling in need of a change. I have the black bettie page pin up hair that I swear every goth/metal/rockabilly/punk/scene/alt chick in town has. Its pretty much goth 101 hair in town and I know I'm not a special little snow flake so its not that everyone else has it that I dont want it, its that because eveyone else has it that I'm tired of seeing it lol I love it but I've become bored. So I figured platinum blonde colour in the same style , at least thats a colour change, but my bf/hubby isn't really digging the blonde like I thought he would.

I kinda assumed all guys love blondes and that when he saw a picture of what I want he'd be like drooling, instead he was like 'meh blondes'.

I know I should do it for me, but every girl wants to be attractive to her guy too so I'm thinking of something that both of us will love but I am clueless
I do not like funky colours as ive been there done that too often.

so what is a girl to do?

I know its not the most hard core example, but I LOVE an angled bob. They grow out nice, they make you look like you have an actual hair cute with out much work for a longggg time. I get mine super thinned out, like Gwenniths in this pic.

Dude love redheads. Like Bloodrayne redhead. But, I find a cherry cola color to be the best on the wallet and the drool. It's the best of redhead and brunette.

I should of mentioned I have a euro fro that I straighten every day. Thinning our my hair would be a bad idea as the curls would grow out funny. Ive been down that road XD. I was considering red but ive been red soooo many times. My boyfriend is saying to go with the blonde and he will love it cause its me, but I have til january to make a final decision

Maybe go red first for a month or so to give your hair time to recover, then go platinum?

if you've coloured your hair dark it is very very difficult to go blonde. As in, it's not going to happen in one visit to the salon.

I would do a very pale ash color with lavender highlights. It's blonde but with a little bit of flair but not dark.

I'm aware of this. I've already had a consultation with a stylist and we've planned it out for if I decide to go blonde.
