  • + it was cold but not rainy for my Halloween visitors

    + I love the happiness on the wee children's faces and bewilderment on the very little visitors

    + the rest of the H. stuff is in the trash which is being picked up right now

    + found my Halloween decorations and got the porch ready in a half hour yesterday

    + Joanne and Heather came in for a short visit when they brought their kids around

    + my bruised wrist seems better today - seeing the doc re bloodwork and will get him to check it

    + the Mill accounting workload has eased considerably

    + garlic planting 'bee' for Saturday is a go!

    + dogs behaved like angels with all the visitors last night

    + feeling very ready to tackle weightloss more seriously
  • * no rain and a little sunshine!
    * healthy choices.
    * my life in general.
    * being motivated.
    * the scale going down another 2lbs.!
  • + doc visit went well - great bloodwork and BP - gently chided me about weight gain

    + Donna is home again - I miss her

    + wrist and forearm bruising is from bloodwork, not a break - very strange reaction

    + took down the H. decorations and packed them away yesterday - time to think of Christmas lights

    + Leanna brought over her wee nephew for a visit - he loved the dogs and vice versa

    + weather is supposed to clear over the weekend - I'm tired of rain
  • * sunshine- so in need of bright sunshine!
    * coffee n ibuprofen
    * house stocked with healthy choices.
    * getting bills paid.
  • + x-rays show knee joint deterioration but Dr. J got me an appointment with the ortho for Monday!

    + we missed the snow that fell just north of us

    + slept until 8:15 this morning!

    + feel a tad down but know Aleve and some more coffee will perk me up

    * my family, friends, neighbors
    * my hole in the woods, running water, electricity
    * my vehicles
    * bills being paid
    * healthy food in the house
  • * fleece blankets, sheets, n pullovers.
    * cellphone w/internet
    * 3FC, YMCA, Healthy Eating Class.
    * learning to handle things more calmly.
  • I'm so grateful for this website. As of sat I'm no longer morbidly obese. A really big deal to me.
    I'm grateful I've been able to spend more precious time with my grandbabies this month
  • + life is looking better since my ortho appointment yesterday

    + been "sleeping in" until 6

    + sunrise is now in the southeast and lights up my kitchen wonderfully for coffee

    + good meeting with the quilting group - they are finally understanding my financial reports

    + found the perfect fabric for binding a quilt I need to finish for the group

    + very cold weather but I have warm clothes - so many do not

    + my dogs who are even more cuddly in cold weather

    * my dog for making me take her for walks even tho its cold out n i dont wanna go!
    * being able to go to the YMCA.
    * my journal to keep all my thoughts and emotions in check.
    * 3FC for my weight lose n health track!
  • + silly thing but am all pleased about finding the solution to a quilting problem

    + Paul is bringing me a dumpster to help with barn clean-up - it looks like Hoarders in there!

    + have finally decided not to go to PA for Thanksgiving - feel relief over that

    + gave my wee dogs a bone each last night and watched them carefully - they are grateful

    + sunshine despite the cold really lifts my spirit

    * my sanity {which may be questionable to others}.
    * any small bits of motivation i can latch onto.
  • My computer is fixed!!! New hardrive. It took such a long time. The Geek Squad had to have HP replace it and send it out. I missed 3fc.

    - healthy day yesterday... two in a row... yay
    - yesterday was the first day of peace... no election ads, thank goodness
    - in two weeks 'the kids' will be here for a long weekend. Can't wait.
    - friends, family, YOU ALL, fb, internet, cell, music
    - nice weather predicted
