Sorry Boys... Girls, my bra is too big!!!!

  • Yep!!! LOL!!! I know this is a little silly, but it's a victory none-the-less!

Change is happening, and I know it now officially because when I was dressing this morning I noticed that I had some (a lot) of extra room in my bra!!! Ok, so that may not be the first place of concern when it comes to losing volume, however, if it's happening there, it must be happening everywhere!!!!

    YAY!!!
  • Congrats Girly! Although I cna't afford too lose there if I did progress is progress!!!!!
  • braless in Brazil is a good blog to check out for proper fitting bras. Turns out I was wearing the wrong size completely. Good job on the NSV
  • If only we could loose inches in every place of our body except our booty and our girls... That would be wonders LOL

Not silly at all. I wish I would lose a few inches on that measurement. WTG.
  • Just joined this...I'm a mother of 3...been a mom for 13 years and have always gone up and down wy weight. When losing weight ive only lost at the most 20 lbs after diet and exercise until now!! In 12 weeks I've lost 43 lbs on Ideal Protein and am learning how to keep the weight off. My first goal was to lose 35 lbs w a total weight loss of 70 lbs!!! I'm a little more than half the way there!! 203 lbs 159 lbs!!! So for those of u who have met ur mini goal or have a ways to go, I am here to say YOU CAN TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR LIFE AGAIN!!! I feel SOmuch more energized without even exercising!! In fact I just started walking/jogging two weeks ago and I feel even better!! Writeme back if u need some motivation !! I have had times where my motivation has been low trust me but having a support system has REALLY helped!! Take Care!!

Me too! I started at 36DD and I am STILL a 36DD! I honestly wish they'd go down at least a cup.

    Congrats to OP!
  • I'm having this problem as well and I just purchased some pretty ones a couple months ago too. I think I went down a cup and a 1 band size. I'm trying not to get too sad because I am losing inches.

Like Campana said I would love to be able to keep my backside and the girls, but it doesn't work that way unfortunately!
  • Im so scared to lose my boobs, theyre starting to get quite small (36 C but they honestly look like 36 Bs)
  • Me too! I went from a 38G to a 34H! I noticed they had been fitting weird and my chest was feeling unsupported so I went to my favorite bra store. She put me in a 36G and then wanted me in the 34H which was perfect! What a difference.

And if you are in DD sizes, PLEASE go to a bra store that carries about DD and they will get you in the right size (a store that stops at DD will put you in a size that is too big in the band and too small in the cup.)

Once you are in a properly fitted bra, with a tight enough band and a large enough cup, you will look like you've lost 10 pounds and 10 years!
  • Lol, yeah, same here. This is... one of my least favorite, but most noticeable, parts of significant weight loss. I was only a C-cup to start with! How small will they get!? Gah! But I suppose it's worth it... *sigh*
  • I had the same problem. When I lose weight it's more noticeable in the chest. When I gain weight, it goes straight to my hips. Not fair. When I finally HAD to buy some new bras I was a little sad, but apparently a good fitting bra does wonders, cause the boyfriend noticed.

Awe Manda, Just a DD ?? lol I'm a DDD/G, just one of my Bra cups Literally fits snuggly on my HEAD!! LOL

In 4 months my bust size has only gone down an inch out of a total 11 inches lost, seriously thankful that i'm only 27.5 lbs away from being medically cleared for a breast reduction.

Congrats OP !!! (I'm kinda envious at the moment lol )
  • LOL! OMG! I LOVE the responses!

I for one am absolutely NOT sad to see a bit of my boobies go. I'm at a DD and at the end of my highschool days, back when I was at a very healthy weight, I was a D. So, I know I won't go down to a C or B -- just doesn't happen in my family -- but a little bit smaller, I can do
  • It's so odd for me and my bras. I noticed some will fit and others won't, they are a small bit looser. I wear a 34E (big ladies, I know ) but my back measurement has gone down to 31.5" from 33" while my bust as only gone down 0.5" from 37" to 36.5". Seems to be a few who would like to lose their ladies and others who won't. I can't wait to lose mine. When I was a 34C, I felt that is was just a prefect size for me. But I think when I reach my goal, I'll be smaller than that due to this current back measurement.
