  • 1. Kids are going back to school tomorrow and I will have more time to myself.

    2. Work may not be flowing in as it was before, but I still have a job and that is more than many others have right now.

    3. My son's haircut looks really good. We finally found someone who can cut it the right way!

    4. I have someone who loves and supports me, even if he is far from perfect.

    5. My body is full functioning and I can move freely.
  • - a nice talk with Mike yesterday

    - I don't feel so stiff today... from sitting 8 hours in the car

    - finally talked to my friend in the hospital

    - friends, family, YOU ALL, cell, fb, internet, music

    - the tv shows with history and science

    - my new printer that prints up photographs so nicely
  • *alarm clock... I hate it but at the same time I am grateful I have one because I would not get up on time to go to work without one
    *my husband for driving me to work today
    *I get to start another school year
    *my friends are finally getting jobs

  • + loving having my family here

    + Dave found and fixed Jazz's escape route from the yard

    + they are touring for the day and I have a day of quiet

    + discovered my DD's man is really just as nice as he has seemed during my shorter visits over the years

    + until today, sunshine although hot

    + BBQ with friends on Saturday, great dinner with my sister and her DH last night and another BBQ party tomorrow night with another group of friends

    + so nice to have extra help in the kitchen and yard
  • - good healthy food in the house

    - loving those frozen turkey burgers

    - Rachel has scheduled more tests for her symptoms. I am glad she has such a good doctor

    - my new pretty bracelet (I usually don't buy much jewelry)
  • *the scale went it the right direction today
    *we made it through the first ASB meeting (advisers and students are all new at their jobs but we were able to figure it all out)
    *new contract with free clock hours (I have not been getting as many as I can because it cost money to do it and it always seems to come at a time with money is tight but the catch 20 is that the more clock hours I have the more money I make)
    *my husband for making me feel special all the time
    *a warm bed to sleep in at night
  • * my parents n 2 sisters! (as my hubby has lost both parents n 2 of his 5 brothers n sisters n the recent news of another brother not having many more days)
    * my hubby, hes my biggest PITA but also my best friend!
    * my hole in the woods.
    * the fact that school starts a week from today n ill get some ME time.
    * being able to vent n learn here on 3FC!
  • I am thankful that my main client came into my life and gave me these possibilities and that because of that income I'm able to get to travel this fall to visit my loved ones after not seeing them for a few years.
  • - I stayed within my plan... very grateful

    - LeighAnne is suppose to come help in the garden today

    - DH is going to get to play in a golf tournament with all our friends from long ago

    - today is a doctor's appointment - I must face those lab numbers. I guess I am grateful to know where I am in this.

    - dishwasher - it's a wonderful luxury

    * a new contract at work
    * time to work in my classroom
    * 3FC it is really helping me feel accountable which is so helpful
  • * being able to make healthy choices n changes.
    * my family making the changes with me for their health too.
    * making new friends thru my health class who have like minded goals (added support).
    * my dogs insisting on our nightly walks.
  • - my eating was mostly better than it has been - I am always grateful for any food sanity I can muster up.

    - Colleen and Kristen helped me moved something heavy in the backyard... very grateful

    - it's never too late ... for many things

    - tv and music when I can't sleep
  • - a healthy day yesterday - very grateful for that

    - Having fun with Pinterest (my friend, Shirley is right, however, it can be kind of a time eater. I am watching out for that.)

    - College football starts this weekend. LOVE college football

    - did my exercies everyday this week - am grateful for the willingness

    - our/my habit of gratitude. It's been about 12 years, maybe. Always puts life into perspective.

    - I had lunch with my long time friend, Susan, yesterday. She is a bone cancer servivor (via a bone marrow translant five years ago) GRATEFUL. I love her dearly. She is a minister at a hospital. She is the kindest, most loving, and caring person I've ever known. So grateful she is doing well. She's a gramma now too. We shared our joy.

    Totally agree. My friend Claire dialed my number by mistake yesterday just when I was feeling down from the family exodus. She told me how wonderful they were.

    + a pedicure this morning

    + my dogs who behaved so well during the past week of family chaos

    + friends and family

    + lots of fresh fruits and vegetables this time of year

    + gained a bit of weight this week but am confident I can lose it just as fast
