No longer overweight!

  • On Tuesday 7-17-12, I reached a huge mini-goal of getting to a healthy BMI. After 3 months of diligent work, here I am! I am over halfway to my goal. Here's what I did:
    • Stopped using food as a reward
    • Portion control
    • Visited 3FC's photo albums; seeing everyone succeed made me want to succeed too
    • When the scale discouraged me, I tried on old clothes that are now too big
    • Bought a bike...and actually use it 2-3 times a week
    • Cut out a lot of meat and dairy from my diet
    • Made my husband reassure me every day (I'm very lucky that he's patient!)

  • Thanks everyone! Also wanted to add that I use Weight Watchers to count my points, but I still use the old system. It works the best for me.
