Me and the fridge... all alone. HELP!

  • Hi ladies~

OMG I just got home from work and this is the time I would usually start my night time snack binge. I am hormonal and alone, lol! What do you all do to stay away from the carbs when you are home and in snack mode? Any activities to keep you busy? Any zero carb snacks we can eat? I am new to this and would LOVE the help!!!

    Thank you all!!!
  • Sugar Free Jello with a tbsp of sugar free whip...

A slice of cheese or two melted in a bowl in the micro to make a cheese"pancake"

Buy some sugar free reese pieces and eat 5 a night.
  • OMG! I did not know you could have sugar free JELLO. You officially made my day!
  • Microwave cheese crackers. You cut 1 slice of DELUXE american cheese singles into 16 pieces and arrage on a piece of parchment paper on the microwave tray, microwave for 1the minute. Also go check out the cream cheese muffin recipe I posted in the "What's for dinner" thread started by island chick-you can make those over the weekend one batch lasted me a week with my bf eating some. Genaw.com has great recipes
  • Iced Mocha treat
I sometimes make an extra cup of coffee in the morning. When I get home all crazy, I make a mocha: leftover coffee in a tall glass, a little heavy cream, DaVinci sugar-free syrup (any flavor, but I like chocolate), Splenda to taste. Stir and add ice. Take it to your happy place and enjoy.

I love the cheese crackers too. It only works if you buy DELUXE cheese slices. Enjoy your weekend, everyone. (I microwave the cheese on pieces of parchment paper.)
  • Great ideas ladies! Thank you so much!
  • I'm with KellyBean88...great ideas! I'll have to try!
  • Deviled Eggs
If you keep a plate of deviled eggs in the fridge, they're really good when you starving and need a snack. Just eggs, mayonnaise, a little mustard, and whatever else you like - a bit of grated onion, chopped parsley or green onion, dill pickle relish, pimento. I like them made with Mt. Olive sugar-free sweet pickle relish and green onion.

    Have a great week.
