I had an excersise breakthrough!

  • I take a high intensity aerobics class on Thursday night which involves alot of running and high/low excersises. I am always behind everyone or not doing as much as everyone. Yesterday I thought "I can do this. I am fit" and I could! I ran with everyone and didnt fall behind. I think in my head I am still 50 lbs heavier and out of shape. I just needed a brain adjustment!
  • I know how you feel. My kickboxing instructer keeps say "Stop saying you can't." As I am thinking in my head "YOU want me to do THAT." Not only am I finding those specific thing easier to do everytime, I also find myself being able to do new things that I was almost certain I would not be able to do.

We are not the same people we were. If I keep telling myself that, I will surprise myself in what I can accomplish everyday!
  • Angie - GOOD FOR YOU!

Oh my gosh, I always would hate my gym teachers and instructors for being mad when I would say I can't. I couldn't understand why. It's natural, I seriously couldn't do any more. But now I realize it was just my mental barriers. I can do whatever I want to do. We are used to stopping before we get to our limit, way before it, we just wanna quit when we start getting uncomfortable and tired, instead of pushing to progress.
