189! Fourty lbs lost!

  • So I had moved across state last year in June. Before I left I made all my last appointments so I'd be up to date, when I went to the doctor they weighed me and until about 2 weeks ago I thought I came here to WA weighing 247 but in reality I weighed 230 lbs (I called that office for the number again to tell my mom for certain) I was very surprised but that doesn't really matter. So I'm going to change my start weight to 230 and all my charts, 40 lbs is still a big deal and I'm going to celebrate it! I'm entering comfortable territory now though. 180's was my home all throughout high school.. and I just want to push through it! I made this collage to remind myself that 40 lbs is no small feat! And I'm sharing it with all of you because I'm proud of myself but also to hold my self accountable for this, I ate my way to 230 and I worked my way back to 180's but now it's time to soar past them as well!

(here is the back photo bandage on my butt , ignoorrree XD )

omg I found a face shot of myself when I got out of the shower last summer! so I decided to pull the same little smirk and see if there was a difference, I see something here!

  • You have every right to be proud. You look awesome. You push right past 180 and be at your goal. Keep it up. Great job.

  • Wow amazing job! I'm very jealous of your back as thats what im working on Xx
  • Congrats you look great!
  • Great job - big difference! The 180s were a comfort spot for me too and I was very worried about plateauing there (or losing motivation once I got there), but I blew right through the decade and another 50+. Trust me when I say if I can do it, you can too!! Good luck with the rest of your journey!
  • thanks to everyone for their support! lately I've slowed down on my exercise, I'm convincing myself that this is good for me to take a break. But honestly I'm just not feeling it! so hopefully I'll at least maintain... until I get some momentum again.

@nicolae- you know it's funny because I didn't even realize how huge my back was until I saw that photo of me in the sports bra, it made me wanna put a shirt on right away! and hide! I didn't even notice the change in it until the collages I started making. Photo's are a great way to see your changes!

@DDOD- ahh i'm so ashamed! heh, yesterday I did like 10 minutes of lunges but nothing else.. I'm still counting calories but I set my goals to maintain for the mean while because I don't want to give up completely. I have taken soo many breaks from july of last year until now but I've still gone down 40 lbs.. and every time I noticed I gained at the most 5 lbs that made me wanna get my butt up and do it again. Shame I can't just go all in, or at least just won't force myself. But if it's too much like work I may just shrivel up in the 180's forever! you are sooo close! congrats! I'm sure you look wonderful at 125!
