  • I think you look lovely before RP, too. You have a lovely appearence and you have beautiful style.... that said you also look wonderful after, and it is great that you are healthier now and feel so much better about yourself. You were always beautiful, just now YOU can see it.
    xxx
  • Oh bless you JL Thank you!

I'm not a fan of straightening my hair (as it just hangs there looking quite upset)
It was part of the "makeover". Once they took these pictures in the blue shirt, they went on to try to re-curl my hair (this is why my profile picture looks like my hair melted)

But I'm certainly starting to feel like I once did. I can't find it, but my favorite picture of me ever I was 15 years old, and I think at the time I was probably a US size 14. Too many years of staring at that pic and thinking "wow, I looked skinny!" instead of just working on getting back to that confidence level, I just ate.

If only I could stop looking back and saying "I looked really great there" and hopefully some day I can get to the point where I say that looking in a mirror.
  • RPAIGE ~ I put my pics in with trepidition also; always the one to hide from the camera (so insecure). Like JOSE says, you are a lovely young lady -- cute in all your pictures ... shine girl, shine!

PS ~ plus I added two pictures of what I look like now (took them yesterday) to the group on page one. Wow, even I can see the difference -- I have a chin now ...
  • 2BHealthy- Thank you! it feels great doesn't it? when you start "finding" your anatomy (chin, waist, etc)

You've made phenomenal progress. Congrats! You're a good role-model I can't imagine what it feels like to have lost almost 100 lbs, but I hope to some day!
  • ok, so i have a new favorite. i was trying to do gigantic 80's farrah fawcett hair and it looked shockingly good!

  • How do you post pics?
  • WANNAB2CUTE ~ you click on the paper clip at the top of this reply box (to the right of the happy face smile) and another box comes up. Follow the instructions to browse for a picture from you pc; then upload it; then click on it to post it inside your reply. Once you finish, the picture will show up in your posted reply ... hope that helps you. Btw, just make sure you pics fit the specs here -- 500 pixels, I think (look on the list for the right size).
  • That was me before I started losing the weight. Then the pic of me in the pink shirt is from a few weeks ago.

  • Daki- omg your Silent Hill costume is to die for. Haha
