I have been taking Tums for a long time, as a calcium supplement because I really hate to drink milk. But there is an article on the homepage here, and I've heard it before that you also need the vitamin D to help absorb the calcium. I've tried the Calci-Chews but they are so chalky I can't gag them down. Any suggestions??

I can't remember the name of this brand but you buy it at Walmart in the Vitamin section. It is in a purple tub and even though they are calcium chews they taste like tootsie rolls (yum!). Hope this helps.
