Another challenging week is over. Wasn't there a full moon last week? Does that affect weight loss? Who knows... But, we always get a fresh start with each new week, day, hour.

I started downhill skiing last week, for the first time in 20 years. My goal for this week is to ski everyday from Monday to Friday for at least 60 minutes. Anyone else have a specific exercise, dietary or other goal for this week?
  • i'm planning to ride my bike to work at least twice this week, then on friday my brother arrives for a week of skiing. it'll be an exercise exhausting week.
  • I'm going to continue riding my exercise bike and stop exercising my jaws at night.
  • Today's weigh in = 194.0 lbs.
  • I weighed 193 this morning.
  • Hiya ladies - only down a pound (254). Sick all week though, and all I could keep down was crappy carbs, so I'll consider that good! Today is first day back OP -- going to get on the treadmill now
  • I was down, but went back up to 249.8... I think TOM is coming...
  • I'm back up. . . 208.6. Oh, Well. It happens.
  • 198!
  • Still waiting for a couple of people to check-in...

Is anyone else struggling with February blahs? It's weird, our February here in Ottawa is warmer than normal (there's still lots of snow), and I am not wishing for warm weather to get here sooner because one of my goals is to wear shorts this summer, which I will only be comfortable doing if I can get down to a size 16 regular. But still, whenever February rolls around, motivation is elusive. It must have something to do with the shorter days and fewer hours of sunlight... This is my first winter back in Canada after living in Southeast Asia for two years, so it might have something to do with that as well.

Anyone else have the "blahs"? What can we do to conquer them (besides getting on a plane and going somewhere warm and sunny)?
  • Sorry, I'm late an I'm up!!! 173.

DH and I are renovating the kitchen and we're up to our necks in cupboard doors and paint and eating on the run. Hopefully, things will be better this week.
