  • Hi there! Just wanted to chime in and let you know that I had the same problem when I was entering ONE-derland. It drove me crazy. I was pretty much scale obsessed, so I gave my scale to my sister to hold for me. I decided not to weigh myself for a month. When I finally did, I'd lost about 15 lbs! Maybe you should try that for a week or so? And knock off 100 to 200 calories a day between now and then. They add up quick!
  • I sware 200 is one of those numbers that NO ONES body likes to go under. After starting up a plan again, It took me 6 weeks of not losing weight to finally break through and stay below 200, and haven't seen the number since I like guamvixen's idea of avoiding the scale for a month and dropping a 100-200 calories a day. Either that or up the intensity/amount of your excerises if you work out

    Hang in there.
  • I was at 202 for 2.5 weeks, and I've been at 201 & 200 for nearly a week. My body doesn't want to see a 1 as much as my mind does, apparently, lol...

I agree with guam, try dropping your calories and hiding your scale. It'll get there, you just have to let it and stay on plan!!

    Keep going!
  • Stick to it girl, I know how bad you want it, it will come
I'm with you on this ONEDERLAND stuff, I refuse to go over or even linger near that D**m number again. Let's hope my body listens to me.
    We CAN do THIS!
  • No answers here.....However, I'm doing my "scale cooperate or else" dance.
  • Hi Dulce! I can totally relate to how you feel, that's exactly what would happen to me. We have similar stats maybe we can keep each other accountable. Hope to see you around the boards
  • Hi Sam,
I read about your loss of the weight. BIG CONGRATS. I am in so much of a similar situation. I am 221.6 pounds and needs to loose weight. I read you did not follow any plan. Can you give me an idea as to what you ate in a day? I am so ready to loose this weight. I am also in a miserable marriage. Did you leave or are you all still together?

    Thank You
    Cassy

  • I'm new to these forums but have recently gone from 220lbs down to 190lbs. I know its a hard struggle. I want to lose another 50lbs. I've been busting my butt walking 5km 5 times a week. I've also been using a healthy vegan meal replacement powder. It's excellent for controlling hunger and cravings. I find the benefit of a meal replacement for me is that it buys me time to create healthier meals. I'm literally NEVER hungry, so I don't run for the phone after work anymore to order a pizza, or grab a bag of chips on the way home. My brain is now ahead of my stomach when it comes to food choices!
  • I'm in the same position, its all in my mind, I'm at 188 now everytime I get to 185 I stop myself from getting any further, heres hoping within a few weeks and 184 and counting,
