I am trying to decrease my intake of processed foods for breakfast (which is what I traditionally ate). I have begun to eat oatmeal in the morning...which I surprisingly like. However, I need ideas for what to add. Right now, I may add Splenda or Brown Sugar and cinnamon. However, any other ideas on how to jazz up oatmeal?
Side note...In my past unhealthy life, I generally never ate breakfast unless I went to McDonald's for an egg and cheese biscuit (oh, and unsweetened tea...as if that really made a difference). Alternatively, I ate a bag of chips from the vending machine or Cheez-Its- because they had cheese Healthy breakfast eating was one of my first small changes but now I want to stay away from a lot of processed breakfast foods...even though low cal.
