Starbucks Skinny Peppermint Mocha?

  • I can't find ingredients on the S'bucks site, but based on the description, any reason to believe it's a no-go for P1?

It’s the familiar Peppermint Mocha treat you've been looking forward to - a cool blast of peppermint mixed with rich bittersweet chocolate - but with fewer calories. Featuring a combination of espresso, steamed nonfat milk, sugar-free bittersweet mocha sauce and sugar-free peppermint syrup, the new Skinny Peppermint Mocha provides a light twist on sweet treat for just 110 calories for a Tall (12 fl oz.) beverage

    Thanks for the help!
  • The ingredients are:

Espresso, steamed nonfat milk, sugar-free bittersweet mocha sauce and sugar-free peppermint syrup.

All sugar-free, so it looks safe as long as they don't put anything on top, right?
  • I'd probably go for it... I've always drank skinny lattes on P1, or any phase for that matter!
  • It is a little more than the 100 calorie daily treat but probably alright. I have had one and found the first half was great and I dumped the second half because it was just too much so you might want to order the smallest size. I don't have stuff like this very often though so it might just be me.
  • Thanks guy!
@htastic, I was hoping the site would go into more detail with regards to "sugar free mocha sauce" and what that entails, you know? That was my concern, if there was an ingredient in one of the ingredients that I should look out for.

@CyndiM, funny, I am pretty super-sensitive to Starbucks "skinny" treats (most of them taste like crap to me), but I got addicted to the Skinny peppermint mocha during the holiday season. Perhaps my barista was giving me the real deal, but they didn't have that gross aftertaste that I usually associate with the drinks.

At any rate, I already had my afternoon snack, but you can bet that one afternoon next week I'll be taking a trip to my local Starbucks.
