Good morning, ladies! Heading for temps in the 60s today.
I put my shoes on yesterday and drove to the Food Lion (not my favorite store but it's only 1 mile away) and did some shopping since I was out of milk and bananas. Felt good, too.
Faye, I hope Jack is feeling better. That card must be a hoot!
Maggie, you really are having winter and a white Christmas. It looks like our will be rainy.
Jean, what is a pit ham? I've never heard of it. We have Smithfield foods near to us and country ham is the best but you can't eat much of it because it is so rich. I wish they'd sell 1/4 boneless hams. Even a half is too much for me and I don't like it after it is frozen. Usually I get a slice.
Have any of you got a good recipe for black eyed peas? I had one for a black eyed pea salad that was so good but of course I lost it.
Have a great day.
