    Hello Everyone!

    My name is Nicole. Im new to the sight . I have been overweight my whole life. When i was 11 years old i was diagnosed with depression. Dr. put be on meds and everything he put me on made me gain 10-20lbs per month. Soon after i started emotional eating because i was so upset with my weight. Which of course made me gain more. So its been a never ending cycle. Its to the point where i HAVE to change. I dont want to die of a heart attack at 21.

    Today is day 5 of my diet. I am on the VISALUS program. Which is the only program ive ever had results with. Ive lost 4.3lbs in 5 days and 2 inchs off my hips and 1.5inchs off my waist. Im also using xbox360 kinect (dance central 2,just dance 3,fitness evolved etc) for working out. I am to self conscious to go to a gym maybe after i lose some weight first!!

    Hello, welcome! It's awesome you decided to make a change for the better! I too am self conscious when i go to a gym, thats why i walk at night lol. Good luck on your journey! It will be worth it!!!

    Hi and welcome! My daughter's name is Nicole Marie too!! I'm glad that you are joining us and look forward to reading your posts. I am a calorie counter and using this method I have lost 75 pounds this year. I know that my mood has really lightened up as the weight has come off. I have eliminated a lot of "junk" from my diet and eat mostly healthy food. Gone are fast food, chips, diet soda, sugar, cookies, ice cream, cake. I've replaced them with fruits and vegetables. Your taste buds really do change when you get away from that stuff.

    Welcome! I also have a bit of weight to lose. I have been at this for almost 2 months now and have lost about 40 lbs, and I'm an amateur, so... if I can do it, I know you can! Please let me know how the xbox kinect thing works for you, because I was very interested in it myself but did not want to spend the money on it for nothing.
