    Week 2 : 12/6 --- 184.2
    Week 3 : 12/13 --- 181.1

    Today = 183.6

Phew!! I hoped my weigh in number was a little off. I weighed after 2 days of bad sleeping and eating at weird times. After a few days of feeling a down about my weight, a good number feels great. Last year I gorged myself the entire holiday season and weighed 218 on New Year’s Day. I ate much better this year. I at least stayed semi-conscious of what I put in my mouth. I hope to behave these next few days and post a small loss for the challenge. I tell myself that as long as I lose something each challenge, I will get there eventually. I lost 19.4 pounds the first challenge and 15 pounds the second. I feel happy about preserving my previous losses and surviving the holidays. Come the New Year I’m gonna get my @ss in gear!!!
  • I just started the thread for the new challenge. I hope to see most of you over there. Sign Up here. Thanks

  • Glad to see alot of you guys made it over to the new thread. Lets keep this thing going. I had a semi-disappointing weigh in this morning that I'm not sure I deserved. It could still be some of the New Years Eve bloat. I may cheat a little and weigh in on Wednesday if I need to. Anyway I'm about to drag myself out for a freezing cold run.
  • I had an awful weigh in today but it was all my fault. I totally blew it over the holidays and struggled with being on vacation and ended up binging like it was nobody's business. So disappointed, but so ready to start back at it again!!! Already signed up for the next installment.

    Week 1 : 11/29 --- 194.1
    Week 2 : 12/6 --- 192.5
    Week 3 : 12/13 --- 191.6
    Week 4 : 12/20 --- 190.6
    Week 5 : 12/27 --- 189.7
    Week 6 : 1/3 --- 185.9

WOW. I knew I was trying harder but I didn't think it would work out this well!

Thank you Scarlett for running the challenge! It was my first and I completed it. I am proud of myself and everyone else for sticking with it! I'll see you guys over in 12 Weeks to Take Off.
  • Baseline: 11/22 138.5
    Week 1 : 11/29 136.5
    Week 2 : 12/6 134.5
    Week 3 : 12/13 133.5
Week 4 : 12/20 133 (I forgot to add this to my chart that week, but that's what it was)
    Week 5 : 12/27 On Leave
    Week 6 : 1/3 133.5

When I weighed in a few minutes ago I was thinking that I had started this challenge at 134.5, so I was a little disappointed that I had only lost 1 pound in 6 weeks. But then I came here and saw I was wrong, I started at 138.5. So 5 pounds in 6 weeks! Which I'm not going to complain about, especially over the holidays including a 2-week vacay where I was without a scale. Down is down!

Great job everyone! See you in the next one!
  • 173.2.... I feel like when I weight in once weekly, that the number is not real... I hope that isn't the case here!

    Baseline: 11/22 179
    Week 1 : 11/29 179
    Week 2 : 12/6 178
    Week 3 : 12/13 174.5
    Week 4 : 12/20 On Leave
    Week 5 : 12/27 175.6
    Week 6 : 1/3 173.2

    Great job everyone!
  • My final weigh in was 176. Up 2lbs for the 6 weeks. Oops. To many Christmas goodies and with the kids off school it was really difficult to go to the gym. They go back tomorrow, so here we go!!!
  • I'd say a 2 pound gain is basically maintaining. These forums are full of posts by people who gorged themselves over the holidays. Many of them wish they only gained 2 pounds . Now your starting the 12 weeks challenge with a fresh metabolism.
  • I only lost 1 pound this past week but I did have a stressful and setback this past week Oh well I atleast got biggest looser for one week of this challenge and I am happy about that Brushing off the failure and ready to get back full force into loosing weight.. If it is ok I will post my weight in the morning(today wed.) Since I didn't weigh till late tonite(last nite/tue). I hope the scale is nice to me in the morning

Ok after I post my final weight for this awesome challenge it be on to the next challenge... I am happy about the weight I have lost and glad I am finally loosing again... Ready for the 12 week challenge
  • Well in 6 weeks I managed to lose 0lb. But this was all about surviving the eating season right? So I think gaining 0lb counts as survival!

I'm trying to ease myself back into the diet / exercise routine, as I know if I try and go crazy I'll just get disheartened if I make any kind of mistake. One day at a time and on to the next challenge...

Great attitude! You sure didn't gain any weight this holiday season =)

And I'm the same way. I can't jump all in to a routine change, even if it's one I was already in. I get stressed out and sabatoge myself. It took me a long time to learn that.
