  • It's Okay Heather Angel! The month is young!!! Just really crack down on your calories and work out extra hard at gym or take an extra long power walk with a good friend! Just envision your ticker on October 1st and imagine yourself changing the number to 218 and getting to say bye bye to the 220s! I see from your signature you have made some incredible progress, this month will be another milestone for you and the rest of us taking this challenge!!

    Lets make today count!!
  • Quote: Edited to add: Okay, not 'easily' - Let's be honest, I worked hard to eat so much I felt sick. Ugh.
I hope you won't be too mad that this line made me laugh. It's not funny that you feel sick, just the way you said it.

Good for you for sucking it up, acknowledging this and getting back on track to move forward!
  • Sundays are my normal WI day so my first update. I was down 1.8 for the week, 1.4 since the start of this challenge. I'll need to step it up a bit if I want to meet my goal, but I'm still pretty happy since I hit the 40 lb mark.

    SW: 222.4
    CW: 221.0
    Gw: 212.4
  • Im gonna join...3 days behind but that means I work 3x as hard!

    SW:180
    GW:170
  • Welcome fightingsiouxforever! I've got the same goal! That scale better read 170 by October 1st and I just joined in yesterday!!

What are your plans to reach your goal? I plan to go to the gym EVERY possible day that I can (which is hard after work when I'm tired but I have a challenge to meet!!) or do a really good power walk if the gym is just not in the cards.

I also plan to count my WW points religiously and write everything down, that way there is NO over eating and NO going over points!

I hope we can both say bye bye to the 180s coming October 1st!!
  • Down a pound!

I am making sure I have my "no excuses" mentality with workouts, so I do an hour and 15 minutes of cardio per day, and I make sure to burn 1000 calories by working out, god it feels sooooooooooooo good
  • Steinanwine, I as well plan on working out everyday!! We'll see how that goes though and I've already been writing down everything I've eaten as well as the calories Ive consumed! If we do what we say I know we both can achieve our goals!

April, not at all - I meant it to sound amusing (though true!). I feel my sense of humour gets me through most days.
  • Checking in to stay accountable for September 4th.

Consumed so far: 345 calories .... 7 points (not PP).
Exercise: 5 mile power walk with the BF - burned at least 500 calories.

Will stay more than under my points for dinner. Going to a bar for a friends Birthday party - not worth ruining my 5 mile work out - will be drinking Water & Lime!
  • I just did my first work out of Jillian Michael's 30 day shred..all I can say is wow! I'll definitely lose my 10lbs if I do that everyday!!! Its awesome!

Did that work out totally kill you? I mean, was it REALLY hard and exhausting?? Maybe I should supplement my gym time with some videos.
  • It wasn't that bad. I had to modify some of the modified moves since it was my first time but i never gave up. Im sure it will get easier as my body gets used to it. I would definitely recommend it. If I can do it im sure you'd be able to do it too!! Plus its less than $10 how can u go wrong?? Haha
  • Hi HeatherAngel. Sorry you had a rough time. Have you been able to get back on track? Try not to be too hard on yourself.

As well as following the food plan, I'm working at identifying the difficult times....those times when nothing occurs to me except chocolate. I'm finding that boredom is a common trigger so I'm hoping to plan ahead for those inevitable times.

Here's to a good day tomorrow!
  • Yeh! I am down a pound, thankfully! Finally some movement. I am even up early right now to go running. So.. yay for me.
  • Today is my weight in day so I'll check in.
