  • Hard rock is like, MY LIFE. Me and my boyfriend go to concerts when the bands we like are in town.

JackieDavis I am obsessed with "That Fire" by Black Tide! That is the #1 on my workout playlist right now too. SUCH good energy from that song.

Reece I love fort minor! I love anything Linkin Park.

Unthinkables I love Tool, and A Perfect Circle (and Jackie, I like Puscifer too) I basically love anything Maynard James Keenan does.

The top 5 songs on my workout list right now are:

    "That Fire" by Black Tide
    "Saints and Sinners" by Godsmack
"Your Betrayal" Bullet for My Valentine
"Hold On" by All That Remains
    "Critical Acclaim" by Avenged Sevenfold

I'm actually going to the Upoar Tour at the end of the month where Avenged Sevenfold, BFMV, and Black Tide will all be! WOOO
  • My workout playlist is loaded up with Foo Fighters! A few Chili Pepper songs, too, but almost entirely the Foo!
  • I have a pandora station dedicated to mostly silly songs with catchy tunes and quick beats- basically dancing pop music (Justin Timberlake, Shakira, Lady Gaga...etc). It's not necessarily the music I would mention to represent my taste in music but it's got good beats.
  • There's nothing like a Britney Spears song to keep me going. I always have Britney's Break The Ice in my running playlists at about two-thirds of the way through my run because it picks me up just when I'm getting to that "I could quit now" point! That's a staple in all my workout playlists!

The top 5 that appear in most of my playlists are:
1.) Break The Ice- Britney Spears
2.) Take Me On The Floor- The Veronicas
    3.) Overprotected- Britney Spears
    4.) Blah Blah Blah- Ke$ha feat. 3oh!3
    5.) Numb- Linkin Park
  • My roommate recently left a Mushroomhead cd in the player after his workout...I decided to turn it on while on the treadmill a few days ago. OH MY! I guess you could consider it heavy metal (NOT my type of music normally). It DEFINITELY gets me moving on that machine!
  • It's so funny how different people get moving to different kinds of music, ha. I checked out a lot of the songs on everyone's lists, and some of them made me scratch my head, hehe. Different strokes for different folks! I did love Downtown Fiction I Just Wanna Run though!

Like Kelly315, my list isn't totally indicative of my overall music tastes. But about 75% of the music I like in the car is just not good on the elliptical. No way could I limit this to five songs, so here goes...

    1. Rise Against - Savior
    2. Muse - Uprising
    3. Bullet for my Valentine - Tears Don't Fall
    4. Miley Cyrus - Can't Be Tamed
    5. All That Remains - Two Weeks
    6. Britney Spears - Womanizer, Overprotected, I'm a Slave for You, Circus, Piece of Me (Wow... Yeah, Brit gets me moving!)
    7. DJ Khaled - I'm So Hood
    8. Evolve - Let Me In
    9. Fabolous and Jeremih - My Time
    10. Kanye West - Stronger
    11. Maino, ft. T-Pain - All the Above
    12. Rage Against the Machine - Killing in the Name of, Bulls on Parade
    13. Trey Songz - Bottoms Up
    14. Waka Flocka Flame - No Hands

I listen to a lot more than those, but they're the ones that never fail to get me moving.
  • Woohoo! This is giving me ideas of songs to add to my playlist.

    Britney is definitely on there...

I run outside, and I must confess...when I get back to my apartment I usually have a little dance party for about 15 minutes and let the shuffle keep doing its thing! Ha!
