I have a small group of women at my office interested in losng weight and I have encouraged them to log in!

If we decide to do some inter-office challenges can I start a "*** interoffice challenge" thread and where would be the best place to put such a thread?

I guess I was more wondering if is appropriate to tell someone on the forum who wishes to join that it is an inter-office challenge and they can not join -- if this happens...

3FC tends to discourage "closed" threads. Because we are an open community, we like our groups to be open, as well.

Have you considered putting your challenge on something like Yahoo Groups?
