A "good" problem...

  • I have been losing slowly - not the problem, that's a good thing -
and I needed a pair of black slacks for an occassion and bought a nice
pair on sale, very comfortable. They are already too big - that's the problem.
I know, I know....I ahould NOT be complaining The problem is why don't they shrink?!? If I DIDN'T want them to shrink....they would! LOL

Here's hoping all our problems are so trivial.........ha
  • That is a great problem to have! Congrats!
I totally understand. I am having trouble giving up clothing that is too big and buying/wearing smaller clothing. I think part of it is that I have never been in this situation before, as I've been a slow gainer my whole life. I'm used to clothes slowly growing tight, not slowly growing looser.
  • Congrats on your "problem!" I was wondering if maybe you could have the pants altered? Just a thought.
  • I hear ya! I have tons of clothes, and a bunch were bought with the intention of fitting into them some day (terrible habit - don't ever do it.) Unfortunately, I've bypassed most of those clothes or only got to wear them a couple of times and now they're too big. Okay, it's not that unfortunate. I'm finding that skirts and dresses are easier to wear now because the sizing is more forgiving. If a skirt/dress is a little to big or too small it's usually still wearable. Pants??? Pants are a different thing -- for me, pants have to fit just so. Not too small in the waist OR too big in the thigh. So, I've nearly given up on pants for the time being until my weight is stable... or we hit winter again!

Oh, and congrats on the loss! WTG!
  • Thats a GREAT problem to have! I've only lost 5.5 pounds so far and my work pants are already too big...hoping i can get a couple more sizes out of them if i just keep putting new holes in my belt
