  • Welcome to the binge-free challenge!!

This is a place where you can come in and talk about binging. Feel free to post about your successes and your struggles and keep track of how many days you've been binge free. You can also vent about anything and everything you feel like getting out. We are here to share our feelings and to encourage and inspire each other.

No negativity! We are strong chicks and I KNOW we all can do this!! And we don't have to do it alone, we have each other to get us through the rough times.

ALL chicks are welcome -- no one is excluded! If you are trying to lose weight, not trying, maintaining, recovering from an eating disorder, in the midst of one, or have ANY kind of problem with food, we would love to have you join us!! Please do not hesitate to post your feelings. Jump right in head first!!! We WILL catch you!
  • In for another week!

day... 36 and at my record! can I beat it this time.. feeling confident today!
  • day 80.
icedragon ; great job on reaching your record
  • I am five days binge free! I am proud of myself -- I had an incredibly stressful work week followed by a weekend of family visiting (that has really caused me to binge in the past). I am determined to make it to my birthday in may.
  • Binge free #6 day
  • Binged last night... just couldn't help myself! I'd been doing well for over a week before, so at least my binges haven't been very frequent.

Today is day 1! Hopefully back on track after last night's slip up.
  • I like this challenge.

I've been On Program (abstinent from binging and staying on my food plan) for NINE days now. I am making a commitment to remain abstinent today.

    Thanks,
    Elaine
  • I would love to join you guys. This weekend started off great and then BAM!! Weekends are the hardest for me!

Anyway today will be my Day 1
  • I need this challenge!

Last night during dinner prep and while eating dinner all I was thinking about was sneaking out of the house to binge on a cheeseburger and fries. After dinner I made up my excuse of why I needed to leave the house and before I left I started to think about how the binge would affect my mood, my progress and my physical state not only that night but the next morning.

Well I did it! I did not end up going out. I stayed at home and watched some TV and snacked on a little bit of my boyfriend's popcorn.

This morning I woke up and felt great, not all bloated like I would have been if I had gone ahead with the binge.
  • Great job Torta!!! That's a real victory right there!

    Today is 176 for me.
  • Day 14! Plus I haven't been on the scale! (My stressor) Woo Hoo!

I feel so great now that I'm back on my food plan and exercise routine.

Good luck to all of us.

    Tyla

Good for you! It's amazing how something like that can make us feel powerful.
