    How did you do it?
I followed the guidelines from the book Skinny Chicks Don't Eat Salads. Basically I eat every 4hrs and make sure each meal has protein and carbs. And I keep a loose count of calories and try to keep it between 1500 and 1800.

I don't have a gym membership, so all exercise has been from going on walks, running outside, some jump roping, and I have some 5lb weights at home.
  • You look AMAZING! Great job!

How long was your weght loss journey?

How long was your weght loss journey?
Thanks! It took about a year and a half. When I first started I didn't have a specific plan and hadn't read skinny chicks don't eat salads. Then I read it and started following the general guidelines (I can't do anything crazy strict, growing up I was a very strong willed child and the quickest way to get me to do something was to tell me I couldn't do it. So any diet that makes anything "off limits/ forbidden" was not going to work for me). I also had a boyfriend (the tattoo artist) for 6months and only lost 5lbs during that time. I didn't gain which is good, but it's a big part of the reason it took me as long as it did.
