Welcome, Autumn Beauties, to the February 2011 Weight Loss Challenge! The first month of the year went by so quickly and now it’s time for a fresh new month to continue on in our journey. ALL are welcome to join us at any time J
This is the spot for each of us to check in daily to let everyone know how our weight loss plan is going. There’s no better way to help yourself stay on track. After being on this board for a while, I’ve noticed with these weight loss challenge threads that many people come in and say, “I’m in!…I’d like to join the challenge!” and we never hear from them again. LOL. This brings me to the first challenge I thought of for this month:
1. I challenge ALL of you joining us this month to come check in with us at least 12 days out of this month. Stay accountable! You can do it! Plus, it’s darn fun and we should be talking and getting to know each other!

2. Set a goal of how many days you’d like to work out this month and commit to it.
3. Set a simple weight loss goal for yourself this month.
Bonus Challenges (Should you choose to accept them ):
4. Water is important. Even those of us who love water find ourselves not always drinking enough each day. We’re supposed to drink eight 8 oz. glasses of water a day, right? So, I challenge you to drink exactly that for at least 15 days this month. I drink 16 oz. water bottles so I would only need to drink 4 a day. That’s easy! We can do it!
5. For 10 days, you must work out for at least 10 extra minutes after your daily workout. Any type of exercise will do….just do it for 10 minutes. Can you do it? I bet you can!
6. Any other personal challenges you have for yourself that you’d like to track here for the month, please do.
