20 pound per size?

  • Do I see a pattern here? Do you see it too?

    In my 280 days I wore a 26 pants
    In my 260 days I wore a 24
Now in my 240 days I am in 22s

If I project into the future... size 12 in my 140s? Yep that's what I wore waaaaaaay back then.

So 20 lbs a size for me. How 'bout you - same or different... what is your pounds=size trend?
  • Same.
  • I've run the same 20 pound trend, until I blipped out of plus sizes into 18's. You know, 18W, 18, 16W, 16, 14W, 14 just messes everything up! Once out of 16W I've gone down a size every 10 pounds, depending on manufacturer/vanity sizing.

Right now at 205 I'm wearing 16's, some 14W's, and almost able to get into 14's. They button/zip but they are too tight to wear out of the dressing room!
  • It's different for me. When I start off it takes about 15-20 lbs for me to lose a size (24 at 255 lbs, almost 30 lbs later and I'm getting into some 20s). But, the smaller I get the less I need to lose for a size. When I was in the 140s I was wearing a size 6-8, and if I gained or lost 5 lbs I could notice a big difference in my clothing.
  • I was a 26/28 at 345.. and now I'm like an 18 almost 16 at 245. So yeah, that makes sense! Never thought to see a correlation there.
  • So funny you posted this because I was just trying to figure it out this morning. I started at 264 and size 28. I am currently 217 and 18 (except one pair of 18 Levis that still won't zipp???) I had figured it was about every 15 pounds. I had deduced that IF I get my goal of 132 I would be in a size 8.
  • I have no rhyme nor reason. I have a pair of 24 jeans that fit nice and fit nice 20 lbs ago, and a pair of 18s that fit (although not nicely enough to feel comfortable wearing) that did not fit 20lbs ago. I also have some 22s and 24s that do not fit at all.

Granted, I like my jeans looser than most people but still. I have given up trying ot figure it out HAHA
  • It wasnt consistent for me at higher weights, as it varied based on where the weight was lost!

And at a much lower weight, 4-5 lbs was a size down.
  • So far for me it's about 10 pounds...I just put on size 10s the other day. I think when I graduated high school (135#) I was a 4...something like that. Makes about sense then...175 (starting) size 12, 165 size 10, 155 size 8, 145 size 6, 135 size 4, 125 size 2. OMG a 2..haven't been that since I was 16??
  • The smaller you get, the faster you switch sizes. I started at 195 in a size 16, and now am 150 size 10.
