  • My dvd came yesterday and I will be starting today! Is there anyone else out there that is starting or just started? I am nervous based on what I've read from other people's posts!
  • I just finished level 1 workout! I am so sweaty!

    Can someone who's done this before help me out? I don't know when I am supposed to try level 2 and 3? Is there a specific order or do I just try it when I think I am ready?
  • lindalee, It's every 10 days you move to the next level so then 3 level will equal 30 days. I think Jillian (or I read somewhere) you can do level 1 for as long as you need to though.
  • Completed Day 2 - Level 1.

    Am I supposed to do this every day or do I get to rest?? It is hard!
  • I bought the DVD on Friday from Costco, and need a break from my elliptical, so I'm going to give it a try!!
  • I took the weekend off as I went away with my husband for his birthday but we did a lot of walking around the beach.

    Then for some reason, I did not do it yesterday! I will do it today though. I finally bought some weights as I have been using cans, but they were not heavy enough. We'll see how it goes today with 3 lbs weights!
  • I use 3 pound weights. Today my legs are KILLING ME. Probably didn't help hopping on my elliptical after either. Today I'm walking at lunch then going to do the workout and them maybe skip the elliptical, not sure.
  • Just did Level 1 (Day 3) . . . I can't do all the shoulder lifts when you do a side lunge. My legs were really sore the first two days, but now I feel like they are stronger, but my arms are still so weak.

    I took my measurements on the 11th so I can compare to the end

    Bust 45.5
    Under Bust 38.5
    Waist 40
    Hips 48
    Thigh 20.5
    Arm 13
    Calf 15

    Without working out, just eating right and watching portions, since June 18, I have lost 17.5 inches total (mostly from thighs and stomach area).

    I would love to get to 35 inch waist as a non scale mini goal since I have read that is a healthy waist size for women.

    I was just about to start thread to chronicle my 30DS journey and I saw yours, I think I will just join you, we can support each other.

    I did L1 D2 today.

    My beginning stats are:
    SW: 236.4
    Waist: 36
    Hip: 49

  • Welcome! I intend to do it everyday except weekends, so I guess I will take 6 weeks, but still hope to get the benefits out of it. I already feel like I am stronger and have more energy!
  • This totally kicked my butt and I am a former athlete (high school days) and have been on the elliptical EVERY DAY for the past two months!!!

    I had my hubby try it (a runner in his youth, hates gym machines and likes it old school) and he couldn't make it through the 20 minutes, which surprised me because he is 195 and smoked me on our hiking trip two weeks ago.

    I am feeling muscles I didn't know existed before from this. I'm going to try and pair it with my elliptical workout every other day. If I did this every day I would DIE!!!

    Agree! I have to hold my breasts while doing the jump ropes as my sports bra is now much looser. I will have to go get some new ones.
  • Just finished level 1 (day 4) - super sweaty!! I am definitely seeing an improvement in the cardio sections - more endurance.

    Having trouble burning it.. it's already almost 10pm I think I will have to do it tomorrow right after work. I am looking forward to hearing how your next workout feels!!
